Fouad MourtadaA recent identity theft case which includes Fouad Mourtada getting 3 years sentence in jail by the Moroccan government in jail for opening a false Facebook profile in the name of the Moroccan Prince, Moulay Rachid caused alerts on popular blackjack and game sites.

BackgammonMasters, the leading online backgammon site checked their system and found several users in their system using famous persons’ names like Prince William, Madonna and Tom Cruise. They were all found to be fake thru their activities and real location.

”We’ve seen a trend in the industry for people to register popular names, as we call them “Gold usernames” such as backgammonking, pokerking, blackjack-king and celebrity names which are just as popular. We see people in game forums even buying and selling these usernames. For these people its status, kind of like having a custom license plate. As long as the games are for fun, we are not concerned,” a BackgammonMasters.com spokesperson said.

Backgammon Masters Attempts World Record

Backgammon Masters recently invited the Guiness World Records Gamer Edition to witness what should be the world’s farthest Backgammon dice roll. The record-setting event will take place during a Backgammon tournament which will be sponsored by Backgammon Masters that features two of the greatest Backgammon players facing off on a giant, 1-acre Backgammon board. The tournament is designed to promote Backgammon Masters’ Backgammon Freeroll Tournaments and poker games, held online every Tuesday and Friday at backgammon online, and promises to be a wonderful event.

Two backgammon champs will face off from helicopters 200-300 feet in the sky above the 1-acre field Backgammon board. These players will roll the dice from the helicopters, dropping them onto the field below. The dice, which were specially designed for the event, are composed of an inflatable material that protects them from the world-record-breaking falls. Once the dice is tossed, the competitors will communicate via walkie-talkie to their field staff below, who will move the 3-foot diameter checker pieces according to their wishes.
